ABOUT ME

How to resume a life in a few words? I'm quiet but energic, realist but optimistic person, curious of everything, always searching for new challenges. I'm in love with silence. I even collect them, seeking them in mountains and woods. I like listening as much as I like talking. I try to understand the many mysteries of this world.

PHILOSOPHY

Make your way slowly through hasten et din. Remember the peace that lies in silence. Without alienation, live as much as possible in good terms with everyone. Say peacefully your truth and listen to others, everyone has his own story to tell. You're children of the universe, not less than trees or stars, you have the right to be there. With all his broken dreams, the world's still beautiful. Be positive and happy!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfers hosted me in cities where you can't set up a tent. Always very interesting experiences. Also hosted some travellers in hometown Montreal with great pleasure.

Interests

My interests? As much as a you can stuff in a life! There is no thing I would't do if I were immortal... Since I'm not, I spend most of my time reading, studying languages, playing guitar, discussing with friends, walking in mountains and exploring remote places of this planet. I love jazz and I have and unexplainable fascination for Russia, for its language, geography and history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What to choose? Walking for weeks in the mountains of Kashmir. Living with a saddhu in a temple in India. Exploring on foot the Himalaya, the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Andes, the Caucasus. Walking in the mountains of Siberia. Getting frozen swimming in lake Baikal. Crossing Amazonia on boat from the Andes to the Atlantic. Hitchhiking from Paris to Istanbul. Cycling from Paris to St-Petersburg. More generally, living is quite an amazing thing !
