Overview
About Me
Hey everyone. Friendly monolinguist from Glasgow, living in London. Has been a number of years since I've done anything couch-surfing related as life got in the way, but I'm keen to make some trips, do some traveling, and hopefully host a few people in London.
I make nice food and don't shed my fur.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
All of the best travels or holidays in my life have involved staying with local residents in some way shape or form. I love meeting new people (boring but true) and always think it's the best way to get to know a new city/country.
Also keen to show some people around London - been here three a half years and I aaaalmost get it. Nearly there.
Interests
I promise to make nice food for anyone I stay with. But it will be vegan (sorry if that's not your bag).
Some-time musician and show-off. Always looking for live gigs in new cities, or open mic nights, or comedy or theatre or any kind of performance nonsense.
Always always always looking to try new food/drink.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Sufjan Stevens, Tom Waits, Neutral Milk Hotel. Everything else kinda stems from that.
I also play cello in an Eastern European/Balkan gypsy band. Tell me all about your local folk music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Met the president of Austria in a park in Vienna. We were only there for a couple of days - timed it pretty well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Good [vegan] food
- Very heavy sleeper
- Skilled at talking about things as if I understand them more than I do
