I'm an internationally minded person, who likes to do different physical activities and is interested in political and environmental issues. I do climate change research for work.

I like meeting new people from different backgrounds, but I may sometimes appear shy in bigger groups.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to Couchsurfing, when I was travelling to Vancouver and Victoria and was hoping to meet people through Couchsurfing. I haven't really been active here, but meeting new people is cool :)

Interests

I'm interested in environmental issues and politics in general. I love having long and deep discussions. My favourite themes are the life's big questions, philosophy, meditation, environment, cultural differences and similarities, and languages to name a few. I'm open minded and curious personality, and I'm generally interested to hear about anything that somebody else is enthusiastic about.

I do different kind of sports. At the moment, I'm most enthusiastic about acro yoga, climbing and going to the gym. Occasionally, I do also different bodyweight training exercises, play badminton or volleyball, run and swim.

Hiking and outdoor life in general is close to my heart. I would like to see more theatre, contemporary dance, circus or interesting movies.

I also love vegetarian food and baking pastry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent seven weeks mostly on a bicycle in Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Faroe Islands, and in Iceland. It was a great way to explore countryside of different countries and get a good feel on the distances. Visiting Iceland is an amazing thing in itself! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bake Finnish pastry, teach basics of acro yoga, or cook good vegetarian food :)
