- parks, with a paperback book or kicking the ball around, or frisbee maybe
- trying out local beers and breweries
- cozy cafes
- writing
- dinners or picnics over wine (a cheap bottle is usually best!)
- tennis

I usually prefer cities to beaches, but how about a city *with* a beach?
