I am soon 26 year old Finnish guy traveling in North America.
I graduated last spring and felt like traveling so got a one year working holiday visa in Canada and went for trip to search some new experiences. I lived half a year in Vancouver Kitsilano and worked hard to earn some money whilst hiking every possible nearby hikes within 3 hour drive. At November I traveled to Mexico for couple of weeks to surf with some Finnish friends (I love Mexico). After the Mexico I stayed three winter months in Whistler working partying and snowboarding. Now I am back in Vancouver and staying for one more month working at UBC before going on a road trip, camping through US West coast. I am doing this road trip with my former colleague, a 19 years old German fellow with a weird sense of humour. At the end of May my trip in North America will come to an end and I will go back to Finland on 29th. The fun doesn't stop there because I am planning to first stay couple of weeks at my summer cottage without saying a word to anyone (Finnish retreat) ;). After that I am going to sail another two weeks through beautiful Finnish archipelago! At the fall I will continue my biotechnology studies and finish my Master's degree.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am looking to get a place to stay for April in Vancouver. I find that couchsurfing is a fun way to experience the city and meet like minded people and stay social and active even while working hard.
