I'm a sociable, easy going guy that's and open towards different aspects of life. Would also consider myself being a liberal thinker with a exceptional sense of humour. Above all, I keep myself quite grounded.

I graduated from a business school at university level and worked in 4 different sales positions but realized that I prefer to do good instead of revenue. Thus, I changed my career so that I could work with youngsters in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like to meet new people and I think one gets more out of travelling when one gets to know the locals or other travellers.

Interests

Sports, watching soccer, hiking, sailing, hitch-hiking, travelling, nature (In summertime Lapland and archipelago of Finland are places that I will return throughout my life) AND I love board games and biking (mountain, travel, road)

I have also travelled from Malmö to Budapest 14 days with the accommodation and travel expenses close to zero. Hitch-hiked from Athens to Helsinki in 27 days with a friend I had met twice before.

Read a lot of fantasy books when young. Even read Lord of the rings to my lil' brother for two years, he often was already sleeping and I just continued reading, not noticing what had happened :) Nowadays just random novels and some self helps. Should read much more..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did some fishing in Finland at the altitude of 1007m, the highest point in Finland is 1323m so theres only few places you can do that. (Later on I heard there's no fish so high :D But the lake was amazing.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics if you want to try to retire at early age :P Not personally following that road but I know quite a lot about stock markets..

I can give some hints about traveling in Europe, Asia and especially Finland. Of course : )

I've hiked a lot in the North of Finland so I know the routes and can give you practical tips about hiking as well.

I can try to recommend excellent board games for your taste or teach the basics of poker.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always eager to help with anything and to share my knowledge.

I have helped my hosts in house chores and I can also teach the basics of bike maintenance and help with that as well.
