ABOUT ME

I am a friendly person, I'll say I am open minded too, and of course I really enjoy traveling, but I enjoy even more to get the opportunity to discover a foreign place living there for a while. I have already lived in different places and now I am about to start a new adventure in Luxembourg. I'm really interested in learning about new cultures and habits, since I strongly feel that differences among people in the world that make it better and not worse, and definitely more interesting! I also like reading and watching movies, and I love to watch sport! Especially the one I've done for many many years: artistic gymnastics!!

PHILOSOPHY

Take things as they come, do not get upset when things goes wrong because there is always a moment in which they turn around completely. And usually in totally unexpected ways!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mainly surfed other people's couches, but once I got the chance to host this guy that was riding through Europe on a bike! It has been a really nice experience and I hope I will be able to host more people, more often, in the future. I have also hanged out with couchsurfers when I didn't really have any place to host them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This idea is so smart! I had to know so many great people thanks to the experiences I had, even if I was a foreigner I could really get in contact with whom I met down the road and had the luck to live some really excinting moments. One that was really outstanding was watching with this baby's mom his very first steps!! I just couldn't believe it.

Interests

I like reading and watching movies, as well as watching sports (I enjoy almost everyone) and do sports (the few in which I fell good enough!) I'm kidding, I will hardly say no to a sport even if I don't really know how to play it. Actually it's more likely that I'm the one that wants to play anyway and friends don't want me...! In the past I practice gymnastics and skiing, but I also like swimming a lot and I've recently started to surf!! (lots left to learn actually, but I'm getting better!)

Music, Movies, and Books

One of the best movies ever: Dr. Strangelove! Everybody should see it! Among my favorites there are also O Brother, where are thou? and Coens brother's movies in general, Man on the moon, The Prestige, the Bourne Trilogy, Memento, Dolls, The Believer, Big Fish, No man's land.. I could go on for ages, if you like movies too, maybe we can talk more about that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked inside a volcano!!!
I have seen the rising of the moon, lighting the sky, from a great and secluded spot in Oaxaca, Mexico. An emotion I will never forget!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook amazing Italian food! ;-) And tell you all the main jokes of my prime minister!!
An interesting exchange will be about the social and political situation of the other person's country, but funnier is to discover the daily habits and how the differentiate from mine!
