ABOUT ME

In the constant process of being shaped by experience, circumstances and people I interact with. Changing the place became some sort of routine. I grew up in Podlasie: charming and intriguing region on the border with Belarus. As soon as I moved out to begin my studies, I discovered invaluable advantage of seeing things from different perspective. That's why I've kept on moving.

It is difficult to point out my favourite movies of all time. Among those which left me amazed recently are Leviathan, Ida, Grand Budapest Hotel, Blue is the Warmest Colour.

I am a big fan of non-fiction focused on Balkan states and post soviet countries. I treat it as an peephole which allows me to learn more about societies in the countries I haven't visited yet. Though, the last book I have been amused with, was a novel "Bones" by Ignacy Karpowicz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This question really made me think about my experiences. I don't think that I've done something extraordinary. I love and remember those special moments which had made me feel so alive and so present at the moment. All are connected with travelling, experiencing the unexperienced. I remember hiking MT. Rigi at night, having a nap in the forrest and reaching summit just in time to see the sunrise. One of those very special moments is connected with Portugal: lying on the beach, drinking porto, feeling like tomorrow doesn't exist.
