Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS when i was still in University and hosted quite a few nice travellers! It has always been a great experience with each of them as all of them were unique and interesting in their own ways. In the end, for me its all about learning from each other.

However, I have seen CS changing over the years and i particularly don't like the new trend of posting publicly the requests. It undermines the essence of looking at each others profiles and deciding who you really want to meet. I consider the traditional way of personal requests as the best.

So now i like to meet only CSers who send me personal requests.

My association with CS will be for the longest time, that I am sure of!!!:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far its been really interesting! All the CSers I have met till now have been very nice people and I have had lots of great experiences which I am sure will continue...:)

Interests

Travelling, reading and listening to all kinds of music!!

Staring at patterns and details, so i guess art is my interest too!!

BOOKS--Hermann Hesse, Aldous Huxley, Russian authors like Dostoevsky, Solzenitsyn,.....Conrad, Camus, Maugham, etc....

MOVIES--- Just too many to list.

In music, i like drum n bass, sometimes ambient n sometimes dark trance too... always try to keep my electronica collection updated, i love blues too since m a big fan of the guitar.. Of course, Indian classical would be my all time favourite!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I have travelled fairly well in India, I can suggest travel plans especially if you are interested in camping and trekking.
