First and foremost, I love programming and have recently been passionately learning machine learning :) having said that :

I enjoy traveling and exploring places, and am always eager to have new experiences! I like to make new friends, party and do spontaneous crazy things at times, though I like spending time to myself, reading or walking, just as much, if not more.

I am always amazed by beauty in nature, and like spending time near the river near my university (both in Bremen and Guwahati!)

Talking to people with different backgrounds and cultures excites me, and I love learning about their views (of anything!) and experiences.

I am a generally curious person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am traveling alone in Europe whenever I get the opportunity, CS is a perfect way to make friends wherever I go and share experiences with them! It is also a very practical way to travel by saving money and getting proper advice from locals. It couldn't get any better!

I am new to CS, but am very eager to get involved with the community soon!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: most music, except for Hip-Hop and grunge. The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Coldplay, Daughtry, Radiohead are some of my favorites.

Movies: crime/thriller science fiction or Comedy movies. I like watching horror movies, but am too scared to watch them all alone.!
Star wars series (some more than the others) Lord of the Rings, Bourne trilogy, Inception, the usual suspects!

I have also probably binge-watched most of the popular english tv series of the past few years, HIMYM, Sherlock, Friends, Suits, House of Cards, Breaking Bad are some of my favorites.

Reading: science fiction, psychology, history and philosophy books
My favorite reads in the last few months were "the monk who sold his ferrari" and "the power of habit". Last year I read Stephen Hawking's works.
I also often spend hours at an end following links on Wikipedia
