Overview
About Me
I'm a newly minted twenty something who wants to see something of the world but does not love being a tourist. My hobbies are reading, listening to sometimes crappy music and explaining to everyone I meet how my name is pronounced
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had heard about this site from a friend who had an amazing Europe trip because of it and honestly find that hotels are excessive when all you want is a place to crash for the night. Also you get the added bonus of a local's viewpoint in the place you're visiting. I've tried doing the one day one city type of travelling and I find I'd rather just relax in one place, try activities instead of museums and tourist sights. Like go boating, or attend a book reading, or try a good restaurant.

Teach, Learn, Share
My cooking skills are relatively new but I've got a couple of Indian recipes perfected, and would love to show my hosts.
My languages are really where I shine. Teaching in a classroom atmosphere is not my favourite thing in the world but informally I think it works out great.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm brimming with trivial facts and happy to answer any questions about my native culture, to discuss books or music equally seriously and in turn listen to your experiences.
