About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a 30-something psychologist from a small seaside town of Kokkola, Finland. I got severly bit by the travel bug a few years ago and after shorter backpacking trips in Europe, I decided to take some time off work for traveling. My four months in Australia and Asia in 2012 were absolutely amazing and life changing. I also happened to meet the love of my life in Australia (through couchsurfing :) ) and since then we have lived between the two countries. At the moment we're in Finland, living in the cutest little apartment in an old wooden house with an old fashioned wood sauna at the back. The weather's not comparable to Aus of course, but other than that I can't complain.
I used to travel alot by myself but these days you'll most likely catch us traveling together with the boyfriend. The same goes for staying with us, but don't worry, we're pretty awesome people. ;) I'd describe myself as a trustworthy and thoughtful person with a good sense of humour. I love to meet new people and make friends around the world. I'm active and like to take care of myself by exercising and eating well. I'm very much into yoga&meditation, organic gardening & of course, traveling whenever I get the chance.
PHILOSOPHY
Traveling is food for the soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in waterfalls. Climbed to the edge of a volcano. Stayed on a bus turned into an apartment on a macadamia farm. Learned to surf. Songkran in Bangkok. Had Asian food in Asia (anyone who's been there knows what I'm talking about). Seen amazing sunsets and a few sunrises. Yet the most amazing thing might be meeting all the amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I should do is speak the different languages I know, I'm starting to forget! You could help me with your language and I could teach you some other - but maybe not Finnish, it's not very useful. I'd also like to share information and learn about gardening, vegetarian cooking, meditation, yoga...
