We are a couple of artists hailing from Estonia. Anu-Laura is an internationally recognized and rewarded animation film director. Sander is a free-lancer in the field of production and set design, computer graphics, animation and film score composing.

By opening our home for interesting temporary individuals we not only reach out to help travellers but encourage the cultural exchange of diverse ideas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted a dozen of guests since we joined and surfed a couple of couches here and there in Europe.

Animation, cinema, theatre, music - that and much more.
I am an artist and a film maker and my work and curiosity about other cultures and exotic nature has taken me to many amazing places in the world. I love travelling, and my travels are always connected to my filmmaking, to spending time in nature, to meeting local people. I don't need luxury for travel, just inspiring environment and friendly atmosphere. Meeting local people while travelling is how you get to know a place.
Which is why I like to return hospitality to visitors and travellers myself. I don't accept couchsurf guests at the moment because I moved and in my new place I don't have as much space, but whenever I have a free room in my house or while I travel I give my place to visiting artists and friends and try to introduce them to local life here in my home country.

Anu-Laura can explain all the details regarding animating a puppet, how to create one and how to make it live in its natural environment. Sander is very tech savy theatre professional and can share his experience regarding participating or creating a spectacle.
