i would say i am passionate about music and art !!! .. mostly improvisation and abstract .... maybe fairly creative, a touch spiritual, a belief in enlightenment and human ascension ... ! and i believe love is all we need ... get that right and the can move forward as a species ...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am a 54 year old male, 2 daughters 17 and 14 ... .. i am a libran so thats supposedly to do with balance (i hope so !!) ... i am a patient, calm person, and fairly easy going. i like music, art, travel and good conversation ... i read a lot, and listen to a load of music ... i worked in business for a long time, computing/internet etc and then stopped to find a life ...

musicians (well free form improvisationists ) most welcome ... as this is the stuff i play ... i organize some gigs and record a lot, so this is my world .... i paint a lot, exhibit and visit lots of exhibitions

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

a few people have stayed and no problem -- i was registered with the WWOOF organisation for years and had people from all over the world stay with me.. food and board for work exchange !!

Interests

i live in a smallish village surrounded by mountains .. that grabs my attention every morning. I have a 19 and a 16 year old daughters who take up a chunk of my life. I am a musician, so i am always writing and recording !!! I also paint in oils and work a lot in the open air .. for a lot of years i was running my own permaculture finca ..a lot of work ... and now i look after the olive trees of a few friends and maintain a number of gardens for people.

rest of the time i just do what i feel like doing !! ... gardening, cooking, running, swimming, hang out on the beaches near tarifa, the mountains here and take in some exhibitions in malaga or wherever i am .... reading eckartt tolle, listening to Bashar (channeler), watching obscure bands/musicians on youtube , listening to David Lynch chat !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

birth of my daughters .. one in hospital and one at home certainly left me awestruck !!!.. being in the san francisco earthquake in 1989 was a rare experience !!!

sometimes in improvisational music there are moments where you hit a plateau and go flying somewhere else .. these moments are magical !!

my first trip to zanzibar !! another was fez !! another the top of sierra de las nieves in Malaga ....

love berlin... recently back from budapest and loved this city ...
