I was born and raised in New Jersey but somehow (it's a long story) ended up living in India for 6 years, going to med school out there. I'm currently an internal medicine resident in Jersey, which takes up a lot of my time, but whenever I get a chance, I tend to bolt off with my passport in hand!

I consider myself to be pretty flexible- I'm just as comfortable exploring village gullies as I am navigating city blocks in NYC.

I appreciate silence as well as good conversation. I'm pretty easy-going and am usually up for just about anything!

I love to travel - as much as I would love to have company on trips, I realized if I kept on waiting for people to get free time, I would never go anywhere! So I've started solo traveling- it's liberating and I always love meeting new people along the way!

I figured Couchsurfing is a great way to get immersed in the local scene and learn from and meet up with new people!

Music- you name, I love it! (Except country!)
I'm a big fan of everything from Zeppelin and Hendrix to RHCP and Incubus to Deadmau5 to Tupac.

Books- I haven't been able to read as much lately as I've wanted but I get easily caught up in a good novel!

Movies- I can watch Gladiator and Fight Club and umpteenth number of time and never get tired!

I've loved all of my experiences, both good and bad!

I've surfed (more like majorly wiped out) on the longest wave in Africa, in Morocco. I've rafted down the Rishikesh with yogis performing their morning ablutions on the banks. My friends and I somehow managed to talk our way into the Louvre for free!
