About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world, living at least a couple of years in each location.

ABOUT ME

I design digital user experiences for a living. My drugs include playing/listening to music, travel and gaming(I may be getting too old for this one). I'm currently running really late on my Things to do before 30 list.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm largely a happy go lucky guy. I believe in doing what I need to do at the moment to stay happy. I believe the words "Now. Here" pretty much define my state of mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined Couch Surfing back in college because the idea appealed to me. I haven't actively hosted or surfed in almost 5 years now. Looking to get back in.

Interests

Music fuels me. I'm a complete audiophile. I also collect musical instruments. I play the guitar, sing and do special effects for my band, Experiment 102(www.experiment102.com).
I'm also an avid photographer. I've been shooting for about 10 years now. You can find my photos on (www.flickr.com/anuragdutta).

Music, Movies, and Books

I started out with Bollywood music(obviously), then moved on to pop, rock, blues, metal, progressive and so on. Right now I'm really digging post-rock and trance. My favourite bands are Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Blackfield, God is an Astronaut and Explosions in the Sky.
I like movies, but not enough to talk about how much I like them. My favourite has always been the Shawshank Redemption.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of playing a guitar, or the piano, or photography. Basics only though, I don't know that much. I can also teach you how to make "bachelor food":).
I would learn to learn a new language or an art. Pretty much anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A warm sleeping pad, food, music, stories and great times!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong, Nepal, Netherlands, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

India
