ABOUT ME

I am 22 years old studying Biology with hopes of one day becoming surgeon. I am fascinated by new cultures and people. I could sit on a park bench and people watch all day :) I love being active - whether it's going on a run or playing an intense game of racquetball. I love to read, relax, and talk.

PHILOSOPHY

Always put others before yourself. A life lead selfishly is a miserable one. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. There is always something good that can be made out of a bad situation. Having a positive outlook on life in one way or another can solve any and every problem. I have great ambitions to become a doctor and hopefully one day travel the world to assist in medical procedures in third world countries without the technology/tools.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and gaining and understanding of new cultures, ideas, religions, philosophies, and perspectives. I think it is truly important for us all to get to know each other all over the world. A great understanding of the world and its people builds character unlike anything else.

I love being outdoors and doing anything active. I like photography even though I'm not very good. I hope I will be able to take some classes soon. Also, I love sports and anything to do with the beach. I try to read a book a week and will try to read any genre. Occasionally I watch TV and when I do it's always the television show LOST or The Office. Laughing is my favorite thing to do.

I will read just about anything but a few of my favorites are: The Pillars of the Earth, Harry Potter, Shadow of the Wind, Anything by Stephen King, and Confederacy of Dunces - if you have never read Alice the Wonderland give it a try. I also am very open to music it just depends on the kind of mood I am but I listen to classical piano, rap, country, classic rock, jazz, hip-hop/R&B and some of my favorite artists are Rod Stewart, Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Maxwell, Kid Cudi, Diane Krall, and Debussy. My favorite movies are either comedies or very suspenseful action movies. A few of my favorites are: Shawshank Redempton, The Hangover, The Wedding Crasher, Schindler's List, Bourne Identity, Boondock Saints, Sin City, Crash, Seven Pounds, and Old School

Covadonga, Spain - Supposedly if you drink from all seven fountains you get married within a year. I drank from two :)
Competing in the Krispy Kreme Challenge: Krispy Kreme is a donut company in the United States. THE BEST DONUTS YOU'LL EVER EAT. The contest is to run 2 miles to the Krispy Kreme eat 1 dozen glazed donuts and run 2 miles back within an hour. I competed. I ate. I finished.
