ABOUT ME

I am an ex-art student who has not quite figured out what she wants to next. I still draw and make things and generally try to be creative.

I can be quite quiet and a bit shy sometimes, but get me talking on the right subject and I wont shut up.

Am fairly chilled most of the time, and can usually be found with my nose in a book, playing with the dog, or drinking cider in the local pub. Sometimes all at the same time

I am looking to host and be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with a a couple of people in Berlin. I am now looking to host people on my couch.

I like making stuff, dancing badly, random drunken conversations, red lipstick, noodles, second hand books, drawing, sunny days, and watching arty films, among many many other things.

Music: The Smiths, Belle & Sebastian, Rufus Wainwright, Velvet Underground, Dusty Springfield.

Films: The Apartment, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Anything by Almodovar or Wong Kar Wai.

Books: Too many to mention, I could talk about books all day. Some of my favourite Authors are Carson McCullers, James Baldwin, EM Forster, Hanif Kureishi, Collete, Christopher Isherwood, & Douglas Coupland.

I can turn my tounge upside down. Due to the art degree I'm short on marketable skills.

I am interested in learning other languages especially German and Spanish.
