Hi guys!

I’m Anya and I'm originally from Krasnoyarsk (Siberia, Russia). Currently I’m doing my Masters of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. For the past few years I’ve been working on cultural and educational exchanges between the US and Russia (not anymore and you can guess why). But I’m still into the international education field , so I’d be happy to discuss it if you’re interested :)

I’m a huge fan of travelling and exploring new cultures! I have a rule - to connect with locals in every single trip I have.

I like outdoor activities, tennis (still a beginner), watching documentaries, learning more about fashion styling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve done Couchsurfing over the past few years and it was an amazing experience! I also hosted a few people in Siberia (yep, some foreigners travel there).

I’ve met many amazing people and I’m still friends with most of them!

I also believe that just by meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, you can learn a lot!
