In February 2021 I moved to Austria to do my MA degree here. Before this I lived and studied in Russia. I enjoy learning languages and volunteering. I volunteered as an English teacher in Russia and as Economics teacher in U.S. school. I used to organize student conferences, which was an interesting experience. Also used to do a lot of camping and shooting, now do it much less as I am super busy with studies, but probably still can remember something and teach you if the chance appears. Talking about my character, I would say that I love active lifestyle, but at the same time can equally enjoy quite days alone. Probably, I am not a person to go to a bar with (not going to lie about it haha), but hopefully a person to have an interesting talk with.

I was lucky to travel to several countries on exchange programs and enjoyed it enormously. Once was an exchange student in California, which I usually can't stop talking about :) Then I also visited Poland, Germany and some other European countries, definitely looking for more!

Programs and organisations I was part of: Global UGRAD, AIESEC, Study Tours to Poland (STP), Junior Achievement. If you did any of this, we will definitely have smth to talk for hours!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, explore different cultures and share mine. I believe couchsurfing is all about getting to know stories of people and the places they live in. I tried couchsurfing when I was on exchange in the U.S. and met a lot of amazing people without whom my trip would have been completely different. I can truly say that interaction with some of the hosts changed my life. Hope to be able to rent my own place somewhere in the world soon and start hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, so I have troubles figuring out which book is my favourite one. If u can recommend me your favorite book, it would be awesome. Also strange fact about me is that I just didn't develop a habit of listening to music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went through safeguard training. Still not sure whether I can use it in life, but it was super fun.

The other cool thing I did is taking SCUBA diving classes in California. Now I am a proud certified diver :)
