Hi there! My name is Anna, I am from Kazakhstan. I am studying Civil Engineering at Nazarbayev University. I've finished my 3-rd year and now I'm in Madison, Wisconsin studying summer program.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While in America, I would like to explore as many states and cities as possible. I would like to become more familiar to the American culture and find new friends. Staying in hotels is a bit boring, I really want to feel the city and its' atmosphere.

Interests

I am extroverted person, so I love to hang out with friends, going to the cinemas, bars, just walking, it doesn't matter, if there are some interesting people around you. I really like dancing, I even participated in ball at home university, so I learned to dance waltz. I like ice skating, especially in the winter in Almaty. I am a civil engineer, but I am an art person, too.

Marvel/DC studios, The Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star wars, Interstellar, Gran Torino, The notebook, Seven Pounds, La La Land, Eight below, Sherlock Holmes, Gone girl, Proposal, and much more. I am really into movies, I watch a lot of them and it is really difficult to write the favorite ones down. I am in love with Game of thrones, Sherlock and other TV shows. What about books, I prefec classical romantic books as Gone with the wind, Pride and Prejudice etc. Music? Ed Sheeran, Weeknd, John Legend.
