Overview
About Me
I'm a gap year student who just finished up the IB in Singapore, currently volunteering at a pediatric HIV clinic in Swaziland. Before this I spent five months at a clinic in Timor-Leste. I'm passionate about epidemiology (study of disease) and want to learn more about geography, health, data analysis, and basically just how the world works.
I'll be moving to NYC for six months starting in January 2017 to work at The Earth Institute at Columbia under Jeffrey Sachs, and really want to meet some cool people who can inspire me and show me what's good in the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people who have seen the world and have experiences, hobbies, and interests they'd like to share.

I worked with the Mars Science Laboratory (Curiosity rover) ChemCam team for two years, and did some of my own first-authored research. So at just 15 I ended up standing in front of my poster getting hammered by Ph.D.'s at the Eighth International Conference on Mars.
