Overview
About Me
I am from the wonderful mid-western state of Minnesota, particularly, I grew up in Scandia, which is the first town in Minnesota that the Sweeds settled into. I'm also one of the few who finds the sub zero degree days an adventure.
My weeks mostly consist of working at a hospital in Minneapolis, geeking out in a lab over electrophysiology of the heart and reading EKG's. I also volunteer with an organization called Arrive Ministry where I get to teach English to a refugee family from Burma. I love getting lost in thought during long runs, preferably down country roads or through the woods. I love the swing dancing atmosphere/mood, and enjoy learning new dance moves and being a Ginny pig for ariels. I frequently get up extra early to spend time reading the Bible or some theology/apologetics book over a mug of black coffee and a journal in hand or to hit the gym before work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience new places and learn the culture of a place by the people I meet, I want to share experiences and learn about others experiences. Air bnb/hotels are great and have their place, but there is so much value in learning a city from someone who lives in it.
