I'm a student at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, doing my MA in English Philology and trying to learn the German language. I'm currently not working, so I've got plenty of time to explore German culture (its food, beer and wines, beautiful cities and castles) and, of course, to meet new people!

I've always dreamt of travelling the whole world...and I am slooowly making my way towards achieving this dream! I find travelling exciting, which was my reason to join AIESEC in 2012 , to go on Erasmus exchange a year later and leave my home again to study Master's abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't fancy travelling as a tourist really (getting on a tourist bus, attentively listening to a guide speaking my native language and sticking with the group). No, that's not for me. I love travelling with friends, having no certain plans, getting lost in a new city, meeting local people and being open to exploring a new culture.
I like people who share the same interest when it comes to travelling.
And even though I might not be able to host anyone currently, I would still enjoy showing around my (new) city :)

Interests

Besides travelling, I also love literature (Russian classics: Dostoyevsky, Gogol, Bulgakov, American and British literature of the 20th century - especially modernism), and I'm always happy to meet people who share these interests!
I also enjoy cooking (cakes and pies) and, of course, partying! :)
