About Me

CURRENT MISSION

mission? to discover the world! make a lot (and i mean A LOT) of new friends

ABOUT ME

what can i say about myself... i love learning languages, travelling, and meeting new people! it is the experience i'm in here for :)

I value new friendships the most - people inspire me, I love meeting other travelers and digital nomads. I mostly work remotely so I try to stay in different places throughout the year.

I work at film festivals, i translate films ( subtitling, voice over, dubbing), translate films for Netflix. I am a neuro language coach and I teach English and Russian as a foreign language for business and career purposes .

I am a jazz singer and I love taking part in jazz jams around the world :)

I have lived in the USA for 2 years, where I was on a Fulbright scholarship teaching Russian and studying linguistics, cinema studies in Oberlin, Ohio and taking vocal lessons at Oberlin conservatory. I also spent a year in Washington, DC working in education.

I spent 4 months in Arica, Chile, as a volunteer teaching English to kids in vulnerable schools there and then traveled South America for another 5 months

PHILOSOPHY

Life is awesome!
Music is happiness.
I live in my own cinema

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time couchsurfing was in Europe - I couchsurfed with my friend in Prague and Spain, we were hosted by very nice people! it was a great experience!

and then I met up for coffee several times in Germany, and got to know such pleasant people! got new friends :)

Then I couchsurfed a lot in the USA, I was being hosted and also I just met up with people , too. It was one of the best experiences in my life! I couchsurfed in Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, Austin, San Diego..

And then in Peru, Chile and Argentina. Now thanks to couchsurfing I have some amazing friends there!

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a hard one.. We for sure can talk about films and film makers in person, I can also show you a lot of very nice short and feature films .

As for books... It is also hard to say, but one I know for sure: one of my most favorite books is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hitchhiked in the U.S., Argentina and Chile ( idk if it's amazing or not, but was fun)

Went all the way up and down to Machu Picchu including the mountain itself, the hardest hike in my life so far haha

Traveled alone in Peru and Bolivia and saw the most amazing places
