ABOUT ME

I love traveling and meeting new people and seeing new places. I grew up in Nepal and Indonesia, lived in Brazil for a year as a young adult, and I've traveled to numerous other countries, including a 6 week trip around Europe and Northern Africa in Fall 2010.

PHILOSOPHY

The more I think about it, life is about taking risks, about living and learning and trying new things, about enjoying the moment and trusting God, about loving others and getting to know the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed in Europe and Morocco in Oct 2010. I would like to meet up with CSers in Sao Paulo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch-surfed in Morocco, Lisbon, and Rotterdam with my cousin in Oct 2010. I loved meeting new people and getting to know each city through the eyes of its inhabitants. I was impressed and humbled by everyone's hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of different kinds of music, particularly live music and acoustic guitar. Some of my favorite authors are Madeline L'Engle, Rosamunde Pilcher, Maeve Binchey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

experiencing the beauty of Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, with mountains surrounding almost 360 degrees. Beautiful views of white peaks!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to sew or knit, to speak Portuguese and English. I also love to sing, so we could do some singing together with a guitar, if you play.
I enjoy cooking, so we could cook dinner together.
