About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Check out New Orleans and the potential job scene
ABOUT ME
Let's see. I just finished school and the job scene for new grad RN's in PDX is dismal. I've lived here since 2001 but I've been feeling like maybe it's time to move on. Portland and the Northwest are amazing, the forests, the coast, the clean fresh air, the bike community, the neighborhoods. But I'm feelin' a change a-happening and I feel really drawn to New Orleans, so I gotta follow my heart and check it out.
PHILOSOPHY
Wow, kinda heady, huh?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a newbie to this group, but have slept on others/shared my couches for many moons. Can't offer my space at this time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
90% good times, the occasional mismatch.
Interests
Spending time outdoors, hiking, riding my bike... I'd almost always prefer to be outside than inside. Dancing. Yoga. Happy hours. Commuting to work/school/happy hour by bike. Growing food. Traveling. Learning new things. I realized in the last year that science is really cool. Who knew?

Music, Movies, and Books
All of the above. Music to shake it to, or relax with, a good piece of fiction or an interesting article.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? I have to think about that. Pretty much something amazes me every day!
Teach, Learn, Share
Ummm..., I guess I know a lot about natural medicine, midwifery, homeopathy, nutrition and herbs as well as how all that stuff interfaces with the dominant medical model.
