My name is Anže, and I'm a metallurgical engineer with a deep passion for life and an insatiable curiosity about the world. My journey so far has taught me that there's so much more to every place than meets the eye, and I really believe the best way to uncover the hidden gems is by connecting with people.

I was born and raised in a really tiny and quite unknown country in the heart of the Europe. A country with many different beautifull landscapes, rich history and warm hospitability of Slavic people. 🇸🇮

I am an enthusiastic metallurgist, with passion for cast iron and heavy industry. I work as an RnD Engineer in a foundry in Slovenia.
Besides that, my biggest hobby is traveling, as I believe it enrichens me.

I enjoy nature and peace (but who doesen't, really? haha). There is a special place in my hearth for sunrises and sunsets!

For me, traveling isn't just about ticking destinations off a list; it's about immersing myself in the culture, traditions, and daily life of the places I visit. I love sitting down to a meal with new friends, where the food tastes better because of the stories shared around the table. Whether it's trying my hand at cooking local dishes, participating in traditional festivals, or simply wandering off the beaten path, I'm all about diving deep into the culture that surrounds me.

Meeting up with locals isn't just a preference for me; it's a way of how I travel. No travel company can replicate the warmth of a home-cooked meal, the laughter shared over a mispronounced word, or the insights gained from a late-night conversation under the stars. These are the moments I live for, and they have shaped me into the person I am today.

As much as I love exploring new places, I equally enjoy making friends from all walks of life. I'm fascinated by the stories of others; learning about someone's life experiences, dreams, and challenges enriches my understanding of the world and reminds me of our shared humanity.
