What I'm certain about is that I'm very bad at these "about me" questions.
Once I was asked "so tell me something about yourself" in an interview. I replied "well, did you look at my CV?".

I get along fine with practically everyone, and I get along super good with some people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling: to save on bed costs and to get some local insight about the place.
When hosting: to meet people, and to try and give back to the community. I have a big enough couch, why not make some use of it.
Some of the best experiences of my travels have been meeting interesting people, either other travelers or locals. Isn't this why we're all here? To be honest, I don't consider myself such an interesting person. But that's from my perspective. And out of scope for this question...

Interests

I love cycling. I like hiking. I like photography, but, I admit, lately my camera pretty much sits in the closet. Note to self: have a walk with the camera. I should mention cycling again. I also like swimming and climbing. I like to cook (but only when I'm in the mood). And, of course, travelling, there's so many things/countries/cultures to discover... And listening to music, or watching a good movie.

Music: Heavy metal, trash metal, folk metal, punk, rock...
Movies: I like stories with a twist... the first one that comes to mind is... what was the name again? The one with Keyser Soze! Or Fight Club. And "food for thought" films, like the Black Mirror series.
Books: Douglas Adams, George Orwell.

I can't think of absolutely nothing amazing I've done. Amazing is a big word, isn't it?
Well, we're not all history book material, I guess...
