Overview
About Me
A 21 year old med student and a Numenorian in disguise :). I enjoy the little things in life which some might miss.
I follow what is going around in the world and society around me. Reading is my favourite pastime, which is why I like to think of myself as a person with fairly broad horizons.
I am an open person, don't hesitate to strike up a conversation with me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having visited a few European countries in a group with my friends/family, I decided I'd like to get some different experiences. So, this year it's just me and a friend of mine, making our way through Europe. We thought about couchsurfing because we heard about its tight-knit community and the unique experience it can offer. Apart from that, we think it is always nice to have a friend when you're lost in this beautiful world of ours.
Interests
Can be quite variable, but the ones that remain constant are: travelling, archery, hiking, chess and exploring and developing my taste for music, science.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books are my favourite companion for when I am alone. To me, they present a window to another time, another person's life and their deepest worries and joy. And it is all written down and in my hands - how wonderful! :D I love all kinds of books, from fantasy (LOTR, Douglas Adams) to instructional and theoretical books.
I listen to very diverse music, but the most of it is along the genre of: rock, blues and jazz. If I were to break it down a bit further, I think most of my music is 60s-mid 70s rock (blues rock, hard rock etc.), as regarding blues I would have to say delta blues is my favourite. As for jazz, it's very hard for me to pin point it.
I have much and more to say on the topic of movies :D. I have watched quite some classics and do not really enjoy superhero movies. I'd have to say my favourite director at this point has to be Stanley Cubrick - Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket are simply fantastic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Won a national science award, as a result of which I got to visit CERN
Teach, Learn, Share
Combining the knowledge I gathered through my study and in my spare time I could definitely teach you:
-CPR,
-muscle groups and some anatomy (if you're into fitness or something like that :D)
-a few interesting card games,
I live in the countryside and help with our family garden, so I could probably offer you some advice on growing vegetables and whatnot.
