ABOUT ME

I tend to be one of those people who speak 50% book, movie, and musical lines... which really makes speaking in another language difficult... those things don´t seem to translate well!

I like animals a lot... in fact, yesterday walking about there was a stray cat who was sick and is now attached to my ankles. (I named her Avestruz, the Spanish word for Ostrich!) I am spending my year in Spain! XD Ahh, exciting!

I´m also a Christian, though I´m not catholic, which makes me attending mass on sundays really funny because I don´t bow or make the sign of the cross and everyone stares at me. But that´s just Spanish culture I guess!

I am the only person in my immediate family with the travel bug, and it´s mostly out of respect for my parents who are nervous about my traveling that I restrict myself to summer adventures. However since college graduation I decided to pursue a dream and teach abroad. Yay!

PHILOSOPHY

I have... a few...

1. Pray. Stuff feels better when you do.
2. Strangers are just new friends you haven´t met yet.
3. The world is a book, and to never travel is to see only one page.

I´m a newbie and I haven´t used it much yet, except reading profiles. I´m looking forward to some coffee. Hopefully I´ll find someone with patience to listen to my spanish!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don´t know what I can teach you here... Um... every year I have a goal of learning to do something abnormal that in no way benefits the world, only my own amusement. Last year I taught myself to solve the rubixs cube. Before that I learned how to juggle. Before that the Unicycle. This year I´d like it to be longboarding... if I can find a place that sells them!
