About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the last of Pembrokeshire! Norway, Denmark & Peru you're next!
ABOUT ME
Well my name's Aoife - we can worry about pronouncing that when you get the joy of meeting me in person ;) I'm 5 foot small so in return for putting me up, I make an excellent elbow rest which is guaranteed to make you look very cool/pimpin' in front of all your friends. I love people, I love traveling, I love doing crazy things, scary things, new things. Currently I'm doing a year in industry in a refinery in Wales - in my spare time I like hiking/camping, sailing, acting the maggot etc. As much as I love older art and going to galleries and seeing the architecture of a place along with any other cultural bits - I like to fit in a little bit of the auld partying as well (when I say a little I mean a lot)
PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not in a position to give up my own couch. So how I plan on participating is being the best surfer each host has ever had. Whether you want a quiet surfer, a chatty surfer or a hanging out of your chandelier surfer - I'm you girl. I've no problem cleaning up, attempting to cook, walking your dog, your cat - you name it. The little engineer in me can fix things sometimes as well or at least look intelligent while I tap it with a spanner.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty much willing to watch any movie but expect me to give out about the rom coms - bitta action and explosions suits more.
Music - I tend to let www.8tracks.com guide me when it comes to music so I have a very broad taste. If you haven't tried that site out yet - do!
Books - I have a kindle with 1100 random books I'm working my way through. Just finished the hunger games and now reading Tucker Max: Assholes finish first.
Games - PS3 wise I've played all the Assassin's & CODs. I'm useless at FPS but love playing them online anyway with groups of friends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've crammed in so much it's hard to pick one thing. I do volunteer work on a tall ship called the Lord Nelson. Last Summer the Tall Ships raced out of Waterford - Greenock, Scotland. We were setting all our sails and getting ready to roll over the invisible start line - we were ahead and going to have a good start but our highest sail (the Royal) on the main mast was catching against the mast and not getting it's full wind potential. So I was given the job and up I climbed. After doing my best a horn went off to signal the start of the Class A races and when I looked around me there were 13 other tall ships beside/coming towards me. One of the much bigger Christian Radich was just overtaking us... the whole sight was just amazing. At the start of the Tall Ship's Races 2010 I was at the highest point I could have been.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: A few words or Irish, how we do things at home, how not to cook, how pumps work.
Learn: Whatever you have to offer whether it's a knowledge of the area, the people or just yourself... perhaps how to cook would also be a good one.
Share: Experiences of people, places, opinions.
