I am a musician. wife. student. teacher. friend.

I teach and play violin, as well as any other instrument I can get my hands on.

PHILOSOPHY

Lately I've been trying to cling to a 'less is more' idea. I am sure this has to do with trying to keep my house clean.

Still trying to figure it all out, honestly. Lots of self-examination and questioning... maybe this section will soon reflect some of that :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on a few couches. So far none are from this community. Though each couch has brought a new experience.

Interests

I enjoy music of most kinds. Almost any kind of art form as well.

I like to knit, crochet, sometimes sew and any fiber-craft I can find.

Video games, video games, video games though being a girl I am automatically bad at first-person shooters.

Coffee shops... and most things they have inside.
Coffee or a simple cocktail and someone to share them with.

I enjoy walking downtown and finding secret hidden spots.

Music, Movies, and Books

Current car music: Jimmy Eat World, Stars, Saltillo, Sigur Ros, Feist, Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, and Bartok

In complete honesty I don't think I could list any amount that could give you an idea of the expanse of my musical taste. But lately Mellow seems to be the recurring sound.

I am a bit of a movie junkie. Usually movies that make me think for a bit afterward are my favorite. Pretty broad genre eh?

To be honest I do not read as many books as I would like to say I do.
Right now my list includes topics relating to the physics of music, and harmonic temperment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled. If I really think of it, any travel experience I have, especially with a friends, is normally pretty high on my amazing list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to knit or crochet, play violin, piano or maybe guitar. I love to learn. My knowledge hobbies range from video games to religious history to pharmaceutical compounds and most things in between.
