ABOUT ME

Im Aonghus from Athy county kildare just an hour from Dublin.
Im open minded and easy going with a good since of humor.(so iv been told)I love traveling and sharing stories.
Im into nature and trees and learning about traditional skills and crafts wood and wool are my favourate.
Skill sharing with others is important 2 me
.im a free-spirit when i can , i like going on weekends away to gatherings or camps , meeting people from around the world .
I also enjoy good food and cooking for people.
Wine making is my hobby and i make other things 2 like fermented vegatables chutneys.kimchi.kombucha and pickled foods.
During july i run saunas at the earthsong camps and cook food 4 the sitecrew.
I want to learn from others and hear about there countrys ,food and culture.

..Life is like a book thoes who have not traveled have only read the first few pages...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love hosting couchsurfers i have hosted alot of great people so far and it was all good ..
i like taking couchsurfers out for a few pints in local traditional pubs..and shown surfers interesting places around my area museums,holy wells country pubs and places for nice woodland walks ect...or even a trip 2 the seaside.

Interests

i have alot of interests cooking, traveling ,growing my own veg ,wild food,camping ,going to festivals ,gatherings ,sitting at a campfires,gardening ,wood turning,wild food gathering, traditional skills and crafts,skinny dipping in lakes rivers and the sea. going for a few pints ,chat ,meeting folk,woofing ,naturism ,woodland walks,cooking and good food,home wine making,movies,fermenting foods,saunas.reading ,watching movies,stick weaving,rug hooking ,wooden spoon carving.massage,kirtan and devotional chanting.

i like most types of music ..very fond of kirtan and chanting ,paul simon, stiff little fingers,the clash .the undertones.

.my favourite movie are= Shawshank redemption,Willy wonka, Green mile,Inglourious bastards .into the west .

Snorkled on the great barrier reef.

.Skinny dipped in rivers lakes and seas around the world,

Traveled in australia for a year

.i like to share with people my experiences in life
iv done alot of interesting stuff and love to tell my stories ..
i can also share some of my home made wine and tell how i make it fermented food .can also explain how i make golden milk paiste and some wool yarn crafts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life stories and good chat.....i can also offer free hugs Lol .i love 2 go 4 a pint so i can take hosts out 4 a drink,,,can explain how i make fermented food and homemade wines.
