About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the urban diversity of the world

ABOUT ME

I am kind of a nerd, but a fun nerd. I like to have a good time wherever I go, and I love trying new things. I absolutely love food and am up to try anything new and exciting. I am patient and do not let things get to me which makes me easy to get along with. I prefer to be organized and on time.

PHILOSOPHY

Ignorance is not bliss
Travel is the perfect antidote to ignorance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times but have not yet had the pleasure to host. Not only have i not had an extra couch, i dont even have one for myself. I recently graduated so I am still trying to save up enough to buy furniture :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On a trip to austin city limits i stayed with a great group of guys.

Interests

I recently graduated with a degree in Architecture so this along with art, graphics, and the urban scene in general are key interests of mine. In addition to this I love the idea of travel and have done so whenever possible while in school. I love to cook and eat food. I love information which can mean anything from going to museums to lectures or even just learning from new and old friends. I would much rather be out and about than on the computer at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate this question. There are just too many answers. Movie : James and the Giant Peach ; Book : East of Eden (for now it changes frequently) ; Music : all music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I traveled to Peru and did a 5 days excursion from Cuzco to Machu Pichu. Although there were some troubles it was overall an awesome learning experience. I got to bike down mountains in the jungle, hike along the ancient Inca Trail and I even got to play with a spider monkey! I look forward to my next similar venture.

Although this may seem somewhat uninspiring, the time I went skydiving was a feeling like nothing else and I cant wait to do it again, hopefully in another country.

My trip to chicago, as an architecture student, was one of my favorite trips to date and has convinced me to spend some of my adult life as a resident there. Coming from Houston Texas the scene has much more culture and history that I could not get enough of....and the food!

Teach, Learn, Share

As an architect I am extremely interested in the city as an organism and how it functions. Part of my interest in the couch surfing project is to expand my knowledge of this throughout the world and hopefully to be able to spread some of my knowledge.
