About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat something.

ABOUT ME

I like to move it move it. Specifically, when related to all things disco. Also: eating.

In general, I would say I'm very easy going. Veeery easy going. I have an interesting sense of humour and it usually gets me into trouble. Basically, I'm swell.

PHILOSOPHY

"Minimize expectations to avoid disappointment". I'd like to say this in jest, but it's more accurate than I care to admit...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started surfing rather tentatively with a few kind-hearted folk in PEI (that's in Eastern Canada). Very nice time, although too brief! Then had a blast with a super-cool couple in St.Petersburg, and I was hooked.

Interests

Guitar, piano, synths. Other weird music. Strange electronic music from Japan and German electroacoustic artists.
I like origami.

Just finished White Tiger, which was great. I'm also reading some Chomsky. But I'm not really that cerebral; my last book was by Roald Dahl...and the Moomins. Like Murakami a lot, Cormac McCarthy, Bolano, Russian lit, Iain Banks
