About Me

A mixed bag culturally. I'm half mexican half black and have had a Jewish stepmother since I was 5. Oy vey!
A Midwestern boy originally from St. Louis. I love anything that's new to me. New food, cultures, languages, people etc. you have probably seen me out in nyc dancing on the stage with a beer in one hand and a tequila in the other :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been to a few CS parties and met a handful of CSers.
I've hosted only a couple of surfers.
Couchsurfing seems like a great way to meet and connect with people in a daunting place like New York city. I was introduced to it by a friend and now live with a couchsurfers I met at a cs party I threw with my cousin :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love goofy comedy movies.
Old school hip hop is usually my music of choice when I'm just hanging out. BlackStar, A Tribe Called Quest, etc...
I stick to the classics when it comes to Literature...but A Song of Ice and Fire series is a new pleasure.
Show me anything I don't know of the above categories and I will soak it up :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saw a priest and a rabbi actually walk into a bar.
I only wish the moments thereafter were as funny as the jokes.
