Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel, and I love learning about different cultures and meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly been using Airbnb for sleeping places, but I have used CS for group meetups and such since. However the last time I actually slept on a couch with CS was in 2005, in Zushi, Japan. This guy gave me a couch for 3 nites and showed me all over town. He even took me to a local folk music festival in the forest in front of a giant shrine (see photos). It was awesome! He played in the show too! He also showed me all the cool local shops and restaurants; introducing me to most the local town folk.
