About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel and live more and more!! I want a life that I'll like to remember in my old times...
ABOUT ME
I love life, and I want to love the world I live in. So I want to live for the beautiful things and believe in the possibility to change the things in order to make them even more beautiful. I want to believe we can make it.
PHILOSOPHY
It's hard to summarize it in one only sentence, but I could say I believe in existencialist philosophy of Sartre which says that life doesn't have a sense as long as you don't give it one.
I also read not very long ago a proverb that says : There is no futur; there's only the eternal flow of the present. I'd like to integrate this more...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a new member, I had wonderful times and met fantastic persons. I wish this wonderful experience will happen again and again!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Slept in a WW2 Bunker in Oban (Scotland), in a living room packed with boxes in Lyon (France), in a creepy building where was filmed Trainspotting in Edinburgh (Scotland), in a damnly cold house in Galway (Ireland)... And in classy appartments in the New Town of Edinburgh, in Glasgow, and in Paris... And I LOVED all these experiences!!!
Interests
For sure, I like travels... But I also like to act like a tourist even at home : walk around in my own city, take unknown streets to go to nowhere, look up to see things you can't see if you go too fast... I also like watching people. Read to travel by mind and learn some more. I love cinema, my favorite movies being the strange ones which you can't understand or know where the story goes before you see "the end". I like music that makes you feel things so that you can't even move while listening to it... I love rain and snow when it falls in big flakes or so small ones that you can't even feel it... I like every things which I think are related to real life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies. I deeply love destabilizing ones, which make you think, tough I love movies of all styles: My life without me, L'Audition, Workclock Orange, Little Miss Sunshine, Memento, Bug's life!...
I love to read. I love classics and less classic ones. I love Sartre (favorite : La Nausée), John Irving (:The Fourth Hand), Agota Krisof (: Hier; would read it thousands of times, it's real poetry), Goethe (: The Sorrows of Young Werther), Amelie Nothomb (: Cosméthique de l'ennemie), Isabel Allende (: La maison aux esprits), Oscar Wilde (: The Picture of Dorian Gray)... and other Gavalda, Zeller and Dostoïevski... I'm sad I'll never be able to read all I'd like to.
I like many styles of music, from Pop to Jazz. But the dearest to my heart are Tori Amos, Damien Rice, Dido, Rufus Wainwright, Pierre Lapointe, Nora Jones, Depeche Mode, ...and thousands of classics I won't list here... And also, I'm a great soundtrack costumer : Amélie Poulin, Natural Born Killers, You've got mail, Lord of the ring, etc. And all Danny Elfman's!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A thunderstorm upon a greek bay. It was amazing to see the lightenings illuminate the sea in a deep, electric blue, and to feel the tension in the air as waiting for the next spread of light.
Walking through clouds on the top of Mont-Albert, Québec. It was like being nowhere, seeing slices of clouds and fog brushing against the ground. Amazing! (though I think I would have found amazing too to see something down that great hill I took 3 hours to climb...)
