ABOUT ME

After much youthful folly and hijinks in the concubine underbelly of London's dirty southern districts, I finally decided to get off my lazy butt and explore the world. My dream was to sore the greatest heights of Machu Pichu and plunder many a gold-laden tribesman, but I had to settle for teaching English as a second language to snotty Korean children instead. I have been in Korea since May 2010, and I have not looked back since. Before I finish this adventure I would like to explore the rest of the far east, and meet as many interesting people as possible. As of yet, my job landlady has foregone the idea of putting a couch in my humble abode, but I do have an extra mattress, with some fluffy bedding included. I'm still a CS virgin, but looking to build a nice network of friends on here.

Music, Movies, and Books

Heat, Pulp Fiction, and early 1970s American Cinema. My favorite authors include Charles Bukowski, Elmore Leonard, Carl Hiaasen, Bret Easton Ellis, and Douglas Adams. My music taste is so vast and broad I cannot possibly narrow it down. My all-time favorite band is The Velvet Underground, and most of my tastes are channeled through them. But not all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Mount Fuji when I had no idea that was where I was going was pretty damn special. Also, the Hong Kong skyline at night. Walking along the Brooklyn Bridge. Driving up Highway 1 in California. There are others, but they escape me now.
