I'm reeeally in love with Brazil, so I was traveling around the places that I really would like to know in this country. But now is the moment to travel around the world and learning & teaching some things.

But during the time that I'll spend in my country, I'll try to show some good and AUTHENTIC things of the city! Let's get out of the superficial tourism and have a coffee!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that traveling is a GREAT opportunity of meeting people and sharing experiences! :)

Unfortunately I can't host people because I don't live by myself and I also have SEVEN cats. I'm up for meeting cool and fun people.

I live in Lapa, a neighborhood downtown which is very touristic and have PLENTY of parties on the street! Is somewhere really close to important things to visit, a Christ, the Redeemer, the Sugar Loaf and the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. So I really can help with really useful information of the city, as parties, concerts, events, touristic attractions, public transportation and everything that a person who LOVES the city knows.

Interests

Almost everything interests me! Especially things that envolve the culture, like music, movies, books, dances and popular manifestations.

I am REALLY into musical instruments, so if someone plays something we can really do some musical exchange. If it doesn't play, we can share music from our countries. I really love Bossa Nova, Samba, Forró and a love of traditional music from Brazil ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent some time living at the Amazon Rainforest volunteering at a community-based tourism Natural Reserve! There I could learn a lot about the local culture as how the weather influences the life of the people who lives so deep in the jungle. I also had the opportunity of learning a lot about the jungle, the animals, the plants and the resepct about the jungle and about ourselves.

Other amazing thing is participating of the carnival at Rio de Janeiro! I play on the streets the whole days, and when I'm not playing something I'm on zancos walking around and playing with young people of all the ages! ;) It's really a GREAT opportunity of knowing people and sharing some smiles!
