About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to be happy every day because every day is a miracle for me
ABOUT ME
I moved up from Europe to Chile 3 years ago, after 37 years in the Old Continent. My town is a little one (Algarrobo). Our quality of life over here is high: silence, blue skies, sandy beaches, simplicity, and so on. I´m still involved in environmental activities, being very concerned about the next future of our planet.
I have lived, in different cities of Europe and both North and South America, I know a bit Africa.
I like serious conversation on environmental science and politics. I actively participated during many years in the spanish ecologist movement.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that I´m deeply optimist about humanity, so I fight for the environment and the quality of life of all of us. We do not deserve to be poisoned. I´m quite aware of the fragility of life on earth, a permanent miracle that deserves to be very pragmatic on these matters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By the time being I cannot offer a couch, nevertheless I can meet people traveling around Algarrobo, and show them some interesting natural places, and or have a cup of tea and to chat about the state of the art!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During the 2004 Alhucemas earthquake (500 deads) I was lecturing over there. I saw and experienced a kind of mega Couch surfing because people run away from their houses during several months, in this way we lived at several places within the Alhucemas province sharing every thing with every one. It was pure humanitarism in action, when normal life came back this experience have deeply moved up minds and souls.
