About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To farm cats on cat ranch one day

ABOUT ME

I'm most at ease when I'm in nature, surrounded by lakes, trees and good company, which is why I try to camp, in stay in rural spots whenever I travel.

My studies were centred on finance and the environment (my passion). Now I'm working for an NGO in Montreal.

PHILOSOPHY

DONT PANIC. Kidding.

I believe that multiple truths can exist at the same moment, and are contextual, even if they are contradictory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I'm quite busy at the moment, so I can't take new surfers, but I'm always up for a coffee to help orient those visiting Montreal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still new to Couchsurfing community, but I've WWOOF'ed in Costa Rica and B.C., so I'm at ease and laid back with meeting new people, and sharing my experiences.

Interests

Rock climbing, bikes, cat memes (obviously), freezies, berries, wild mushrooms (the edible kind),

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk. Trap. Folk-trap (a new genre I'm developing).

My favourite films are usually depressing as hell, or, cartoons that make me cry from laughter/heart string pulls.

I read everything. If you have a book to recommend, I'll take note.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While canoeing down the Fraser River from interior B.C. to Vancouver, I witnessed the gradually shifting landscape, from pristine wilderness, to urban/industrial.

I've lived in both Israel and the West Bank. Needless to say, it was illuminating.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're up for it, I'm always looking for climbing partners, and would love to take novices, if interested.

Man, I can cook: Rice paper rolls. Peanut sauce. Butter chicken. Traditional Russian food you haven't even heard of before. Anything having to do with potatoes. Bacon plus whatever (mmmmm). Gnocchi.

I have an extensive repertoire of accents. They can be taught if you pay close attention.

I'd love to learn how to backflip. No wait, that actually scares me. I'd actually be down to learn how to cook/bake a good loaf of bread.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Israel

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Russian Federation, United States
