About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel as much as I can as soon as I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm a law student from India who likes exploring new places and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I could write a book about this one but simply, I don't believe in absolute truths and I like to question widely accepted norms. I'm open to new ideas and different interpretations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I can't host anyone right now, I'd love to show travellers visiting my city around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been an absolutely wonderful experience. I have met some amazing people through CS and had the opportunity to learn about so many different cultures.

Interests

I enjoy travelling, cooking, reading, learning languages, and discussing politics, animal rights, religion and human rights. And yes, I love collecting tea. Oh, and I absolutely adore animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything except violence, action, horror or gore. Off the top of my head: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Pretty Woman, Memoirs of a Geisha, Dear Frankie, The Great Debaters, My Sister's Keeper, Mona Lisa Smile, and the list runs into hundreds.

Music: Anything but hard rock and metal.

Books: The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Harry Potter Series, A Dog's Purpose and Animal Farm top the list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I could list a hundred architectural marvels that have made me gasp in awe but that would undermine the rest of the amazing experiences I have had in my life. I can't compare what I felt when I first looked at the Statue of Liberty or the Taj Mahal to how happy I feel wandering through Delhi's crowded streets. All of it is pretty damn amazing. Well, most of it anyway.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn about different parts of the world that I've only read about in geography books and seen on maps. I enjoy learning new things and it doesn't take much to fascinate me. I'm a good listener, so I'd be happy to learn about other people's experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

India
