About Me

Hello! I recently discovered Couchsurfing and am very excited to travel around Europe before starting my master's program in physics. My girlfriend (Teodora) and I have decided to explore the beauty of Italy from the South to the North. It will be a long trip to discover the rich history, culture, and lifestyle of Italy and of course, we can't wait to taste Italian cuisine.

Information about myself:

Music has always been a significant part of my life. I play the drums and enjoy experimenting with various percussion instruments. I'm always up for a good jam session and would love to share this passion with fellow travelers and hosts.

I love traveling and meeting new people with diverse cultural backgrounds and ideas about the world. Each journey has taught me something new and invaluable, whether it's the warmth of a shared meal, the thrill of discovering a hidden gem, or the simple joy of a spontaneous adventure.

Over the past few years, I have been actively involved in volunteering and community development projects. I have also been a member of some local and national environmental initiatives and organizations to raise awareness about the climate crisis and empower urban greenery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to connect with like-minded travelers and locals from around the world. I believe that the best way to experience a new place is through the eyes of those who live there. Couchsurfing provides a great opportunity to explore different cultures, make new friends, and share stories and experiences. It's all about creating meaningful connections and memories that go beyond the typical tourist experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's really difficult to choose my favorite music, movies and books. Here are some examples.

Movies: Mr. Nobody, The Fountain, Lord of The Rings, Interstellar, Waking Life, Tomorrow (documentary).

Music: Jazz (John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, etc.), Rock (Pink Floyd, King Crimson, AC/DC, etc.), Funk (James Brown, Snarky Puppy, etc.), Coldplay, Alice Phoebe Lou.

Books: Yalom's books (such as When Nietzsche Wept), Humankind, To Have or To Be, The Little Prince, The Alchemist, The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be lovely to play some music together as I play the drums and my girlfriend also plays the piano.

I could teach you Greek if you are interested and share my country's traditional recipes. I have also written down some of my recipes. If the time allows, I would be very happy to cook and show you these recipes.

Of course, I am also open and eager to discuss various topics in science, politics, and philosophy.

Share experiences, ideas, perspectives, and thoughts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sharing is an essential part of traveling around the world. It would be fascinating to exchange our traveling stories and share some tips about traveling around Greece. I could also bring a little gift or souvenir from my country.
