Hey there!
My name is Appa. My husband and myself are currently planning our honeymoon in Italy.
We both are lovers of food, wine, and history, so Italy seemed the obvious choice!
I work as a health and wellness consultant at a shop called The Light Cellar, in Calgary, Canada.
I am an avid gardener, and hope to one day soon live on my own farm, and make a go of homesteading. I love nature, and animals, and all of the natural world.
I am also a big time fantasy nerd, and love board games, and all types of table top gaming!

I have lived on a bus for nine months and know how to keep a small space clean and organized. I would treat your space with that same care and consideration. I am always happy to pitch for groceries or cook a yummy meal for you and your family/friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband has been on couchsurfing for years and years, and while we have traveled together many times before, this is our first over-seas backpacking trip together! So I'm hopping on couch surfing, and already loving this platform as a way for people to access one another across the world.

Books: Same as movies, long, usually fantasy genre series that I can get lost in for a good long while :) I love to immerse myself in worlds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the full Camino de Santiago. It was one of my most memorable travel experiences to date.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am in the field of health and wellness, working at a marvelous little health hub in Calgary. I am happy to share my knowledge of how to ferment various vegetables,, saurkraut, kimchi etc..
I also have some knowledge of herbs and various plant medicines I am happy to share.
Also, I love learning about local plants and systems, so if you have any of that knowledge, I would love to head out and learn from you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am told I am a good cook, and it is truly one of my passions! I am always happiest when I am feeding people, so if you invite me into your home it would be my pleasure to create a meal for you and your family/housemates. I love to share stories, and connect over a good meal and a drink.
