Our mission is to live, learn and love. We love our friends and would like to make new ones! And if we manage to acheive world domination along the way.. well, that's a bonus.

ABOUT ME

We're a house full of geeks - Scott and Lyz and a well-behaved 12 year old daughter named Izabella who is as happy to meet new people as her parents. Scott is 32 and Lysette (Lyz to her friends) is 42. We both work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are happy to host others at our house and are eager to take on whomever might need a place to crash locally. No plans at the moment to travel, but who knows what will happen in the future?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our couchsurfing experiences have been limited to staying at friends when we're out of town.

We've hosted a number of couchsurfers and every single experience has been pleasant and rewarding, and we're always looking forward to more!

Interests

Like I said, we're geeks! Between us our interests include fantasy and sci-fi, movies, computers and video games, board games, comics, action figures and roleplaying.

Scott and Lyz cross-geek into each other's interests frequently; Izabella is becoming a geek on her own terms.

In parties and other social situations, we make a great team, Scott playing the personable host while Lyz does a great job organizing the evening's food (and Scott!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Prestige, Stardust, Iron Man, Batman (except for 3 and 4,) Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Spider-Man, Scott Pilgrim, the Marvel Cinematic movies, Kill Bill, Princess Bride, Serenity, Pixar movies.
Music: Scott's a fan of old school rock - as well as rock of any era, though likes plenty more besides, mostly dance. He's been told his taste of music is 'eclectic'. Lysette's tastes are more mellow, but we tend to enjoy the same stuff.
Books: LOTS! Lyz loves a lot of science fiction and fantasy, and you'll be able to tell that when you see her extensive collection. Scott is more interested in comics.
