CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel and enjoy the company of different cultures and people, I started couch surfing in 2014 and then went off for a while as I was teaching and travelled with friends more, but since I have been back in university, I wanted to get back into the community.

ABOUT ME

I'm kicking it in France at the moment and lovin' every minute. I am a Polish-Canadian and am particularly keen on meeting up with internationally-minded people. I smile a lot and I guess this is what keeps me relaxed and stress free. I enjoy the outdoors, reading and going out to a bar for a drink.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is your couch. I haven't hosted since I'm a student living in a dorm at the moment, and only have a single bed in a super tiny room. But hopefully in the next year I will start working again and have a place of my own to host others from this community in!

Always fantastic meeting backpackers, people who are travel and open-minded. I've only had wonderful experiences with couch surfing :)

Interests

Love to meet up with exciting people who love to enjoy and relax. I enjoy reading a lot. I love walking and exploring new places with a local mind set. I enjoy having a conversation about where life has led me thus far. As a teacher I love it, so whatever you'd like to learn from me, I'm happy to share :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Le Petit Prince, Life of Pi, Nicholas Sparks series, Harry Potter series, 1984 are just a few of my favorite books.
As for music, as long as it is pleasing to my ears, I like it. I pretty much like all genres, almost! Movies, I'm actually into 80s stuff, like breakfast club, pretty in pink, say something <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm proud of my Polish roots and would love to have a Polish conversation over a browar. I snowboard, I play football (soccer), I love dancing, I like to be outdoors, walking or exploring, nature really calms me. I am also always up for a new experience, I like trying new foods, new sports, new cultural experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

People that are outgoing and aren't afraid to try speaking in their non-native language.
I like learning languages from others. I have many stories and kindness to share. I can teach a language or I can just be a friend with a big smile that can help you forget about the stresses of daily life xx
