About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is classified. I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cambridge. It's a nice place to grow up. I like to think I've grown up to be a pretty nice chap. I like good food, good conversation and amazing company.

I did a masters degree in Ancient History at the University of Nottingham and I have a real passion for the Romans and Latin - and that's as unusual as I get. I currently work for a publisher and spend most of my time wish I were either travelling or playing football. My friends all say I have an awful taste in music but I think I make up for it with good taste in movies.

I can't dance at all - embarrassing!

PHILOSOPHY

Make it up as you go along... and jump!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Stand on the sidelines and offer support and useful generic pointers such as "you can do it".

Send me a message! I'll try to reply promptly and it can't hurt your chances ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

80s music. A wide variety of films that would be tedious to list so I'll just say the best film I've watched recently: Nocturnal Animals. Favourite book is a toss up between Pride and Prejudice (Austen) and the Count of Monte Cristo (Dumas).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Loved someone (else) completely, had my heart broken in a really terrible way, and continue to give love.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you a presentation on the Roman republic or teach you Latin.

Aside from that I possess a myriad of trivia as pub quiz ammunition.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment I live with my parents so it's tricky.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
