About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be open and be curious

ABOUT ME

I am kind and friendly person. I love spending time with my family (wife and 3 kids, aged 9, 5, and 0 as of 2020), traveling, orienteering sport and making quality software.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have one, but I think "don't be stupid" is just fine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies. I think the ones I enjoy the most are historic, documentary, good comedy. I definitively don't like horrors and soap operas. My last movie was "The Mission" - about Guarani and Jesuits.

Music. It depends on my mood a lot what I'm listening to, with pop, rock, instrumental being my favorite genres. World folk music, some Lithuanian authors, Vladimir Vysockij, Roxette, Scorpions, Patricia Kaas, Sinead O'Conor, Lisa Miskovsky, Vangelis, Abba - these are all good for me.

Books. When I got my studies, work, wife and kid, I had to cut my reading quite a lot. I mostly read books and periodicals about software engineering now. Time to time - stuff about politics, history, other countries. I used to read a lot of science fiction and fantasy. I've missed a lot of classics, because I was too lazy on summers at school - which I slightly regret now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are some:
* Been born! Yea! Hello world!
* Have got an education.
* Have got a job.
* Have found the joy of traveling.
* Have met my wonderful wife Agata.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about software engineering, which is what my education, work and hobby is about. Apart from that - maybe something from my general experience and interests (travel, politics).

I would like to learn:
* Something that would help to form my understanding of optimal country order.
* About the life in different countries and cultures.
* More about software engineering.

I'd like to share my knowledge and experience. I think, sharing is building - Wikipedia is a good example.
